Hawai’i Foodbank’s Mission
“The people of Hawaii are one ohana. The Hawaii Foodbank provides food so that no one in our family goes hungry. We work to gather food and support from our communities. We then distribute food through charitable agencies to those in need. Our mission is from the heart, and we will fulfill our mission with integrity, humanity and aloha.”
“KEY Project has been a partner agency of Aloha United Way since the early 1970’s. Our community center, today, continues to enjoy financial support from Aloha United Way under that agency’s “Safety Net” Impact-area funding – supporting KEY as a delivery point for food items. KEY collaborates with the Hawaii Food Bank, Honolulu Community Action Program, area churches and volunteers as one of the island-wide sites for `Ohana Distributions.”
Next Ohana Produce Food Distribution is Tuesday, July 5th from 2pm to 3pm. First come, first serve. Next HCAP Food Distribution is Monday July 18th at 2pm. Please preregister at HCAP and bring a valid ID.
